Step 3: Project Details
On the “Create new project” screen, include the project information such as Name, Order Number, Type (New Build, Survey, or Route Proving), Projected Start Date and Projected End Date. Then click on “Save Details”.
Step 4: Preparation for Importing
On the map visualisation screen, locate and select the “Import plan” button. Choose between “Mapall Plan” or “External Plan”, depending on the origin of the data you wish to import.
Step 5: Importing Files
A new window will open, allowing you to drag and drop the desired file or use the file explorer to search for the file on your device. The file formats generally include .zip.
Step 6: Verification and Confirmation
After selecting and uploading the file, click on "Import Plan" and the platform will process the import. A success message will appear, indicating that the import was successful. Click on "Continue".
Now you can review and update the plan as necessary.
Step 7: Save the Plan
Before leaving the page, don’t forget to save the changes. Click on “Save in Mapall” to ensure that all modifications made to the plan are recorded in the system.
A notice will appear to confirm that the plan is being saved in the Mapall database and you will receive a notification by email when the process is concluded.
Step 8: Processing
Once the plan is saved, you will be directed to the “Project Details” screen. At this moment, the platform may be processing the plan details. It’s possible that a message will appear instructing to reload the page if you have already received a confirmation by email.
