Need to update a user's information or remove an associated device? Here's a step-by-step guide to help you do this efficiently as an administrator on MapAll.
System Access
1. Sign In to MapAll: Access the MapAll platform by typing the following address in your browser: https://live.mapall.com/auth.
2. Access Admin Settings: Once logged in, navigate to 'Admin Settings' in the main menu to start managing users and devices.
Editing or Removing a User
3. Locate the User: Within 'Admin Settings', go to the 'Users & Crew' tab and click on 'Your Users' to expand the list of current users.
4. Search for the User: Use the search tool to quickly find the user you wish to edit or remove.
5. Edit User: To edit a user's information, click on the pencil icon next to the user's name. This will open the editing screen, where you can change details such as name, email, user type, and the projects they have access to.
6. Remove User: If you want to remove a user, click on the bin icon next to the user's name. The removal is automatic, and the user will be deleted from the system.
Managing Devices
7. Edit Device Details: When editing a user, you can also manage the devices associated with them. At the bottom of the user editing screen, you will find the device details.
8. Remove Device: To remove a device, click on the bin icon next to the device's name. This will disassociate the device from the user, allowing a new device to be registered in its place.
Reassociating a Device
Register a New Device: After a device has been removed, the affected user will be able to log in to the MapAll platform again and register a new device as needed.
