Detailed Description

You can find below a breakdown of each functionality included with the new "Intrusive Survey" job update within MapAll:

Web Portal:

1. New Build - Project Overview (Main Project)

Two new components were added to the Project Overview page of New Build projects (Main Project):
  • Chamber & pole summary, which reveals two widgets when expanded:
    • Total chambers: displaying the "total number of chambers" in the project and highlighting the number of chambers to be surveyed against the number of chambers already surveyed.
    • Total poles: displaying the "total amount of poles" in the project and highlighting the number of poles to be surveyed against the number of poles already surveyed.
  • Survey summary, which reveals four widgets when expanded:
    • Homes served: highlighting a brief summary of the number of homes to be served, the number of chimney fixes and number of LOS issues.
    • Build/new inventory: highlighting a brief summary of any Build Inventory that is missing and any New Inventory that needs to be added.
    • Total connections: displaying the total amount of connections in the project, highlighting the number of homes already surveyed, the number of homes to be surveyed and the number of homes with issues.
    • Homes surveyed: displays the number of homes already surveyed, the number of homes to be surveyed and the number of homes with issues per contractor on a graph where the y-axis is the number of homes and the y-axis is the contractor.

2. New Build - Project Overview (Subproject)

Three new components were added to the Project Overview page of the New Build project (Subproject):
  • Chamber & pole summary, identical to the one available on the Project Overview (Main Project) page. The key difference is that the data displayed is filtered to show only information pertaining to the subproject area and its elements.
  • Survey summary, also identical in structure to the one available on the Project Overview (Main Project) page. The key difference is that the data displayed is filtered to show only information pertaining to the subproject area and its elements.
  • Survey details, which is a component containing multiple tabs. Each tab shows a category name, the total item count for that category (e.g.: "Pole issues (12)"), and includes a table listing the associated items and their details. The tabs are as follows:
    • DP Summary
    • Chamber Issues
    • Pole Issues
    • Build Inventory
    • New Inventory
    • Hazard / Issues
    • Premise Summary

    3. Job Creation

When creating an Intrusive Job, the user selects Cables and Premises from two different tabs within the "Select job area" component after drawing an area or selecting the entire area around the assets available as highlighted in the screenshot below:

    • Cables:
    • Premises:

Please note that changing between the "Cables" tab and the "Premises" tab will not unselect what has been selected in the previous tab.

    Mobile Application:

    1. Sections

    • Users have the ability to view, interact and update sections with a status of “Roped”, similar to the current Route Proving workflow.
    • Users can select cables, subducts and ducts when updating the sections.
    • When a section is set to "Roped", and the form is completed/submitted, the section will turn "Yellow".

    2. Chambers and Poles

    • When surveying a chamber or pole, any relevant details already entered when updating the section adjacent to the chamber or pole, will be auto-populated so that the user does not need to input details twice.
      • Chambers:
      • Poles:

    3. Map Notes

    • Users can leave notes at any location on the map when surveying, allowing field teams to record observations or actions that are required.
