We are excited to announce another significant update to our Mapall Design Tool! We have introduced several new filters to the Openreach tool to make your infrastructure planning and execution even easier. Here are the new feature
New Filters Available
1. Exclude Poles
You can now choose to exclude the display of poles on your map. This feature is perfect for simplifying the map view in areas where the number of poles may clutter the visualisation.
2. Exclude One-Way Ducts
With this filter, you can opt to hide one-way ducts on the map. This helps to create a clearer and more objective view, especially in areas with complex infrastructure.
3. Exclude by RAG
You can exclude elements based on their RAG (Red, Amber, Green) rating. This allows for more focused analysis of specific elements according to the project's criticality and priority.
4. Display Duct RAG Colour on the Map
It is now possible to directly view the RAG colour of ducts on the map, making it easier to quickly identify and make decisions based on the criticality of the infrastructure elements.
5. Duct Labels Similar to the Openreach Portal
The duct labels are now displayed similarly to the labels on the Openreach portal, providing a more familiar and intuitive experience for users who already use this tool.
Data Import
The Openreach Tool can now be used after premises are imported from CSV files. This feature further streamlines the planning process, allowing large volumes of data to be incorporated and analysed quickly and efficiently.
These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to providing increasingly effective tools tailored to our users' needs. We hope these new features help optimise your work and boost your productivity.
