How to Reroute Cables in the Planning Tool with the Reroute Tool

Rerouting cables in the Planning tool is a straightforward process that can enhance the efficiency and organisation of your projects. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you understand how to use the Reroute functionality.

Select the Cable for Editing: Select the cable in question and click to edit it.
Access the Reroute Tool: In the right-hand panel, scroll to the bottom and click on the "Reroute" button. This action will highlight the current route of the cable in green.
Deselect Unwanted Sections: Click on the green sections of the cable route that you no longer need. This will deselect these sections from the current route.
Select the New Route: After deselecting the unwanted sections, you can now choose the new path for the cable. Click on the available sections where you want the cable to be routed. Remember, red sections indicate that the cable is already installed and cannot be altered.
Save the New Route: Once you are satisfied with the new route, click the "Save New Route" button to apply the changes.
