How to create and complete a CTP Connection job

To streamline your workflow and ensure accurate tracking of CTP Connection jobs, follow these detailed steps for both the Mapall Portal and the Mobile App.

From Mapall Portal

  1. Open a Project:

    • Navigate to the desired project and scroll to the bottom of the page.
    • Click "View Details" on the Assignee/Sub-Project you wish to assign a CTP Connection job.
  2. Add a New Job:

    • On the Subproject page, scroll down and click the "Add a new job" button in the Jobs component.
  3. Create a Job:

    • On the Create a Job page, select the "CTP Connection" job type.
    • Assign a crew and specify the start and end dates for the job.
    • Optionally, fill in the job description and location.
    • Review the details and click "Save Job details".
  4. Select Job Area:

    • Draw a line around the area on the map that will be used for this job or select all assets on the map.
    • Go to the “CTPs” tab and select the CTPs required for the job from the list of available CTPs. The CTPs will be highlighted on the map when you hover over them.
    • Use the checkboxes to select or deselect the CTPs as needed for the job.
  5. Create the Job:

    • Once satisfied with the selections, click the “Create job” button.

From Mobile App (Tablet)

  1. Check-In:

    • Check in to the CTP Connection job via the app.
  2. Select CTP:

    • Choose the CTP you wish to update.
  3. Add Photos and Update Status:

    • Take photos of the CTP and change its status to Completed.
    • Press the "Save & Continue" button to proceed.
  4. Review and Save:

    • Review the details and press the "Save CTP Details" button.
  5. Update and Check-Out:

    • Continue to update other CTPs or press the "Check Out" or "Complete Job" button when finished.

Checking Progress

To review the progress of your CTP Connection jobs, follow these steps on the Web Portal:

  1. Return to the Project:

    • Navigate back to the project on the Web Portal.
  2. Review Widgets:

    • The Homes Passed widget will reflect the updated values.
    • The Civils Summary widget will show the number of CTPs constructed if they initially had a virtual state.
  3. Map & Plan Details:

    • Completed CTPs will be displayed in turquoise or light blue.
    • Incomplete CTPs will be displayed in orange.
    • The status of CTPs where work has been carried out will be marked as Completed.
    • Click "CTP details" to review the information submitted through the CTP Connection job.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and track your CTP Connection jobs in Mapall Build, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
