The article announces the new features and enhancements in Mapall, including new pole defect types, improved data import options, additional details for imported features, and enhanced flexibility in project management tools.
We are excited to announce our weekly releases which includes several enhancements and new features designed to optimise the management of infrastructure and data.
If you require more personal guidance or wish to discuss the updates further, please feel free to Meet with Customer Support.
Here are the key updates that are now available to you:
New Types of Pole Defects
For more effective maintenance and detailed asset management, we've introduced new types of defects that can be recorded for poles:
- Pole Decay: It is now possible to specifically record instances of pole decay, aiding in the identification and planning of preventative maintenance.
- Pole Damage: Any physical damage to the pole can be detailed, facilitating the prioritisation of urgent repairs.
- Pole Depth: Monitor the correct installation of poles by verifying if the depth is as specified.
Premise Import from CSV and XLSX Files
To facilitate data management, we have implemented the import of premises from CSV and XLSX files. This feature allows for the updating and inclusion of multiple records at once, saving time and reducing manual errors.
Displaying Additional Details for Features Imported from Openreach
We have enhanced the integration with Openreach data, now providing a broader view by displaying additional details for each imported feature. This functionality is essential for teams that rely on accurate and comprehensive information for daily operations.
Splicing Details Table and PDF Download
You can now view the details of splices in a dedicated table, making it easier to monitor and manage these connections.
Additionally, we offer the option to download these details in PDF format, ideal for reporting and auditing purposes.
Adding Joints/CTPs Without Assigning Cables
To increase flexibility in project management, it is now possible to add joints or CTPs (Cable Termination Points) to the system without the immediate need to assign a cable. This change allows for greater adaptability and planning in the early stages of infrastructure projects.
We hope these updates will further improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations conducted through the Mapall.
We'd like to offer a more personalised touch to your update experience. If you prefer a guided walkthrough of these new features and releases, you're welcome to schedule a one-on-one meeting with us.
